Nature and Wildlife
I was very interested in animals and nature, and drew and painted a lot of them. Native American art was a big influence. My high school teacher, who collected works from Canadian artists such as Norval Morriseau, showed interest in my work. She encouraged me to pursue my art, even if I did not believe in it as much as she did.
Bike Design Sketches and Other Studies
I ran my own motorcycle/car painting business and made designs for customers, incorporating a lot of nature in my work. I especially enjoyed drawing birds of prey.
