I was commissioned to draw the complete Kuji-in for a martial arts book, published by Jade Buddha Publishing. The Kuji-in (Nine Hand Seals) is practiced in Shugendō, Buddhism, and Taoism. Each seal is associated with a mantra (chant) and is used in meditation.
