This sculpture is a representation of the ambiguous tangled spectrum of thoughts, feelings, and sensations that begin in each of us as something primary—blue, red, and yellow—three colours that provide the elementary source of a very dynamic spectrum we experience through our relationships with each other. This is the source of a vast painting palette from which we all apply and reapply how and what we see—an extraordinary abstract theme of our living, through which each day we grow and refine ourselves, through each other.
Whether you are a member of a corporate team, a neighbour, a volunteer coach, a parent, or a stranger on the other side of the world, each of our stories is the product of its good parts, bad parts, lonely parts, scary parts, sad parts, and wonderful parts—stories that warp and alter the contours of our world and our perception of it just as much as they tell us who we are at that moment we stop and really look. At this moment, we learn to see the world and all who are in it just as they should be—an unfolding masterpiece, perfected through its flaws.
